The Laufer Center plays a vital role in providing educational and research opportunities for students interested in physical and quantitative biology. Our PQB track allows you to strengthen your skills as a physicist, chemist, or applied mathematician while deepening your understanding of biology.

In short, you will take some courses that are specific to your PhD Program (Biochemistry and Structural Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Math & Statistics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, or Biomedical Engineering), and select from a pool of PQB courses as electives.
