Douglas Death
DIRECTOR OF BUISNESS OPERATIONS
Douglas joined the Laufer Center in December 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience in public program management from his time at Suffolk County Government, where he served as program manager for the STOP-DWI program. Since joining the Center, Douglas has been promoted to Director of Business Operations in recognition of his leadership, sound judgment, and dedication to operational excellence. In this role, he skillfully oversees the management, administration, and distribution of Laufer Center grants, while also spearheading a broad range of tasks related to the Center's business and finance administration. Douglas's strategic insight and steady hand have made him an invaluable asset to the Laufer Center's continued growth and success.

Sabrina Kralik
LAUFER CENTER MANAGER AND ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR
Sabrina joined the Laufer Center in September 2024 as the Assistant to Director, Ivet Bahar, and has since been promoted to Laufer Center Manager in recognition of her expanding leadership and impact. With a background in marketing, she brings creativity, strategic thinking, and a keen eye for detail to her role, skillfully overseeing event coordination, faculty and administrative support, and the day-to-day operations that keep the Center running smoothly. Known for her resourcefulness and collaborative spirit, Sabrina plays an integral role in fostering the Laufer Center's vibrant academic community and ensuring its continued success.

Sai Kiran Gandla (SIGH-Kih-ran)
HPC SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Sai joined the Laufer Center in October 2025 as HPC Systems Administrator, bringing with him a Master's degree in Computer Science and specialized experience in high-performance computing system administration. In this role, Sai is the driving force behind the Center's computing infrastructure, expertly overseeing cluster health, storage systems, user access, and website management to ensure everything runs seamlessly. He works closely and collaboratively with faculty and researchers across the Laufer Center, providing the robust, reliable, and efficient computing resources that power the Center's cutting-edge research. Sai's technical expertise and proactive approach make him a vital resource for the Center's evolving computational needs.
