Gábor Balázsi Honored with SUNY Chancellor’s Award

Gábor Balázsi, Henry Laufer Endowed Professor in the Laufer Center for Physical & Quantitative Biology, received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities on December 8. This award recognizes faculty who have made significant and sustained contributions to their fields, and Gabor’s work in quantitative biology and biomedical engineering has been widely noted for its impact. His research, mentorship, and leadership across the Laufer Center and Stony Brook continue to shape advances in genetic systems control and cellular evolution.
