The Laufer Center proudly celebrates Professor Gábor Balázsi on his investiture as the Henry Laufer Endowed Chair in Physical and Quantitative Biology at Stony Brook University.

The ceremony, held in October 2025, honored Professor Gábor Balázsi’s pioneering contributions to systems biology and synthetic gene circuits, work that continues to shape our understanding of biological dynamics and cellular decision-making.

His investiture reflects the Laufer Center’s mission to advance interdisciplinary research at the intersection of physics, biology, and quantitative science.
