SBU investiture ceremonies were held at the Wang Center
On Friday, October 25, 2024, as part of Homecoming Weekend, Stony Brook University hosted its annual Investiture Ceremony to recognize our endowed faculty who represent academic and research excellence. This program also pays tribute to our extraordinary donors whose generosity supports these eminent scholars and enables Stony Brook to continually advance its rich, groundbreaking intellectual community. The event included a keynote address by Esther Takeuchi, William and Jane Knapp Endowed Chair in Energy and the Environment, SUNY Distinguished Professor.
